Zoe is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate with a heart for walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from Baylor University, where she discovered her desire to become a counselor. After her time at Baylor, Zoe spent a year at the Pine Cove Forge’s leadership development program, where she spent intentional time growing in community, leadership, and spiritual formation in a discipleship-centered environment. Later, she earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary, where she graduated summa cum laude. There, she developed a strong foundation in compassionate, ethical, and client-centered care.
Zoe gained her practicum experience at Dallas Life Homeless Recovery Center, where she had the privilege of counseling individuals experiencing homelessness, including children and families. This experience deeply shaped her passion for serving clients with empathy, dignity, and hope.
Zoe practices from a person-centered approach, creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, valued, and understood. She integrates additional therapeutic techniques based on each client’s unique needs and goals, and she has experience incorporating play therapy when working with children. Zoe is committed to meeting clients where they are and partnering with them toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.
Zoe has a particular interest in working with individuals on the autism spectrum and those with developmental or intellectual disabilities. She brings extensive experience serving the disabled community, including her current role as a Capernaum Young Life leader, where she supports and builds relationships with adolescents and young adults with disabilities. Zoe is passionate about providing affirming, strengths-based care that honors each client’s individuality and unique way of experiencing the world. In Zoe’s free time, she can often be found playing sports, playing mahjong, and cooking meals with her friends. She follows professional tennis, and recently joined a book club of young professional counselors to discuss developments in the therapy world.
